Mo Bhende is the CEO and co-founder of Karat. Karat conducts live technical interviews on behalf of clients including Wayfair, Peloton, and Indeed, helping them to meet surging demand for engineers. Prior to Karat, Mo cultivated his passion for hiring and talent development as an executive at Microsoft. At Microsoft, Mo closed $700M+ in business development and M&A deals for XBOX. Earlier in his career at Microsoft, Mo managed the company’s $200M Corporate China Fund and was based in Beijing. Mo holds an MBA from Wharton, a Master of Philosophy from Cambridge – where he studied as a Gates Scholar – and a BS with Honors from Penn State.
