Ellen Melon, Educator and Speaker

Ellen Melon is an intimacy and relationship coach, host and creator of the podcast To Hump A Pillow with Ellen Melon, “The Sex-Ed Curriculum You Never Had.” She educates on topics of boundary setting, attunement, shame and self-worth.

Accountability is WORK. As leaders and visionaries, it’s our job hold people accountable, including ourselves. Accountability is different than shaming and blaming. Shame is a tool of oppression — It's "you're a bad person” vs. "you're not doing your job.”  When leaders shame themselves or their teammates, they kill empathy — the foundation of love and justice. When we are fully immersed in empathy, we are focused and invested on understanding the other person’s experience. In a time of blaming and shaming, Ellen Melon is going to teach leaders the art of holding yourself and others accountable.
