The Impact Lab is a workshop space utilizing the design thinking process for social enterprise entrepreneurs to bring their Design Challenges, and for the community to co-create together toward actionable solutions. It’s a gathering of people from a variety of industries around a single question with the goal of encouraging, supporting, and advancing projects designed to rally and serve our neighbors. By applying asset-based, justice-focused principles in a design lab setting, we can develop sustainable, human-centered solutions to the problems impacting our city.
"Students will have 60 seconds to pitch their best idea to a panel of three local entrepreneurs. Following their pitch, they will receive live feedback they can utilize for their application. This event is complimentary to attend and open to all students regardless of where they are in the ideation phase (or even if they do not have an idea at all). Attendees must be 18+ years old."
