Leslie grew up in San Antonio, holds a BFA in Communication Design from Texas State University, is a Codeup alumni, a Winter 2015 Techstars Cloud alumni, and spent several years working at local arts organizations such as the San Antonio Museum of Art, Artist Foundation, and the City of San Antonio Arts & Culture department. She now directs entrepreneurial programs at Geekdom.

Brian Dillard
City of San Antonio, Chief Innovation Officer

Brian Dillard is currently the Chief Innovation Officer for the City of San Antonio. He began his career in public service in 2018 as the Smart City Administrator for the City of San Antonio. Prior to joining the local government sector, Brian was a Cybersecurity consultant in the private sector working with Shell Oil, Chevron Oil, Lockheed Martin, and Delta Risk. Brian began his career as a member of the United States Air Force where he served ten-years Active Duty as a Cybersecurity Operations Specialist.

How can businesses communicate vital information to customers during periods of construction so customers know that they are open, and can navigate any physical barriers? Tempugo, the 2021 CivTechSA Residency company, will be presenting their solution to this civic challenge that they've been building alongside the City of San Antonio Public Works Department during the 12-week program.
